My Approach

My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic methods tailored to your specific needs, including:

Person-centred therapy emphasising empathy, unconditional positive regard, and allowing you to explore your feelings in a safe, supportive environment.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviours that contribute to your distress.

Brief Solution-Focused Therapyhelping you to identify and build on your strengths, and focusing on practical steps towards positive change.

Psychodynamic Therapy - explores the unconscious mind and past experiences, particularly childhood, to understand how they shape present thoughts, behaviours, and emotions. It ultimately aims to foster greater self-awareness and emotional healing.

I approach every session with warmth, authenticity, compassion, and respect. I believe in treating every person I work with non-judgmentally and with the utmost sensitivity, creating a space where you can feel comfortable, safe, and heard.
